Beer Information
- Beer Batches produce 48 litres, which is equivalent to 6 x 24 (341 ml bottles) of regular beer.
- The process takes 2 weeks from the day it is produced (heavy dark beers may be kept up to 3 weeks)
- The time required to brew is approximately 1 hour and about the same time is required when you bottle
- All grain brewed beers take 3 weeks and require a minimum of 3 hours. Grain brewing consists of mashing, a cooking process which allows enzymes in the malt (grain) to finish converting grain starch to fermentable sugar (all mashing and brewing is done ahead of time)
- U-Can-2: Canning now available. No more cleaning of bottles, appearance of product is much more professional. The beer will keep and store better in cans. Half batch produces 68 cans. Full batch produces 136 cans.
- Please note the canner must be booked at time of brewing to assure a canning space is available.
- Ordering: We now have a wort license so therefore we can legally brew the beer for you.
- Step 1: Call your order in and we will give you a time that the beer will be brewed by.
- Step 2: You come in to pitch the yeast into the wort, its that easy.
